Quality Red Angus Cattle :: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Bridget Family

The Bridget cow family is another that came from Handfords.  These female all trace back to Red Six Mile Bridget 751T who was one of their donor cows and dam to Red Rambo Dylan 14Z or DJ as he was known.  DJ was one of the original AI sires we used on our commerical cows that got us interested in the Red Angus breed.  DJ was the best udder improving bull we have ever used, sickness he could take any udder and make it absolutely beautiful in one cross.  That udder quality came from his momma who had an udder like a dairy cow.  It was big, more about but was was very well attached with very small teats.  The Bridget females have high milk production and are generally more moderate, easy fleshing females.
